Calcium Alginates

TRIGOsorb wound dressings are highly conformable, sterile, high absorbing primary wound dressings made from Calcium Alginate and hydrocolloid. The alginate/ hydrocolloid fibres react with wound exudates to form a soft moist gel. This gel provides a moist healing environment, conducive to healing. TRIGOsorb absorbs wound exudates and avoids leaking of the secondary dressing. TRIGOsorb is an extremely absorbent.

It has to be combined with an adequate secondary dressing. It may NOT be applied on exposed tendons, muscles and chords.
